In a Facebook post, the president emphasized the significance of the group’s work and encouraged Ghanaians to adopt their dedication to cleanliness.
At the NSD relaunch, I provided essential sanitation tools to the dedicated BuzzStop Boys: 200 wheelbarrows, 300 shovels, 300 brooms, 300 pairs of hand gloves, and standing brushes.
This donation aims to support their commendable work in promoting sanitation initiatives nationwide. Their commitment to a cleaner environment should inspire all.
President Mahama stressed the need for sanitation to be ingrained as a national culture rather than a sporadic effort.
NSD signifies more than an event; it’s a renewed call for all Ghanaians to take responsibility for our environment. Let’s strive for clean communities daily, not just on set dates.
Let’s continue this momentum! I call on all Ghanaians to unite and actively engage in preserving our clean surroundings.
The BuzzStop Boys have been leading volunteer-driven cleanup efforts in Accra and beyond, advocating for healthy living and a cleaner environment through community initiatives.
They expressed gratitude on social media, thanking President John Dramani Mahama for his recognition and generous support toward the national sanitation cause.
Thank you, Mr President, John Dramani Mahama
The group reiterated their dedication to preserving Ghana’s cleanliness.
