Former Big Brother Naija star, Queen Mercy, and her husband David Oyekanmi are once again stirring rumors of a possible split.
The new round of speculation follows reports that the couple—who tied the knot in March 2024—have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Adding further fuel, David seemingly hinted at trouble in paradise with a series of ambiguous online posts.
Observant fans also noticed that David has appeared in recent photos without his wedding ring, prompting a wave of concern and questions in his comment section.
Additionally, David has recently shown interest in cryptic content on social media, liking posts about relationship expectations for women, while also sharing about healing and choosing the right partner.
The couple previously faced similar break-up rumors several months back, in June 2025, when Queen removed all their wedding photos from her profile, unfollowed David, and dropped his surname from her bio.
At that time, Queen addressed the speculation in a viral video, explaining that her actions were motivated by a desire to protect her marriage from outside interference.
“I was trying to take my marriage off social media because my husband’s handle is out there, with a lot of ladies sliding in his DM to say both positive and negative things.
I just want to protect my marriage and reduce some of the things I put out there,” she shared.
