Afia Mansah, who was previously married to the Ghanaian business magnate and fashion icon Osebo, has bravely revealed details of the alleged abuse she experienced in their marriage.
In a viral interview with Kwaku Manu, Ohemaa Mansah shared harrowing incidents from her marriage, including the distressing revelation that Osebo purportedly presented her with a counterfeit cheque as her dowry.
Ohemaa recounted how she only discovered the fake nature of the cheque when her brother attempted to cash it at the bank.

“When I married Osebo, he gave my family a cheque. My mother can attest to this, as I handed the cheque to my brother after the ceremony for cashing. It was a stroke of luck that nothing untoward occurred, as my brother could have faced legal consequences. Anyone who has been involved with Osebo would agree that he is a challenging individual to cohabit with, showing little regard for women,”
She also revealed that the trauma she endured in her marriage led her to develop a dependence on alcohol.

“I used to drown my sorrows in alcohol to the point of intoxication while my children looked on in tears. There were moments when sleep eluded me, resorting to sleeping pills. All these coping mechanisms stemmed from the excruciating pain I was enduring,”
Ohemaa further accused Osebo of infidelity, alleging frequent encounters with other women, particularly at hotels.
She recounted how whenever she raised concerns, Osebo’s mother staunchly defended him, acknowledging his history of infidelity prior to their marriage.
“I am not alone in this ordeal, as three other women have endured similar traumas,” she added.
