Showing her multifaceted nature, Fowler further pursued a legal career and was admitted to the Bar at the Middle Temple in 1962 before returning to her beloved Nigeria to practice law.

Fowler served as a councillor on the Lagos City Council, establishing herself as a pillar within the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Red Cross. Her influence was also profound at the Coronaschools, where she played a significant role in shaping education.
